OMG, A press conference that you can actually HEAR THE QUESTIONS!!!!! What a GREAT idea!!!! How did you ever teach the reporters to talk into a microphone? This is groundbreaking journalism!!!
100%
Totally agree!!!
What a concept??? lol
LOL..my thoughts exactly, and no banging sound on the background, haha//
Now, they just gotta work on implementing 4K resolution with their camera, lol//
Really hoping the Fever light it up tonight! CC, AB, Mitchell, Hull & Temi!!!! Pace, aggressive intensity on the D, dropping buckets, HELPING when they mob Caitlin!
Hope Caitlin has another fantastic game with points and assists!
And a second triple double.
You cannot teach
Authenticity
This is what the WNBA needed
Don't sleep on Atl.
This is going to be a playoff atmosphere game.
Love it.
I hope the Fever are ready to play tonight .
Damn, if you watch her high school interviews she's always spoken this way, always straight and no nonsense//
Great coverage as usual Scott! Take my upvote
YOU GO GIRL...
Is there any other athlete in history that has had the impact on their sport that Caitlin has had?
no sport that im aware of no as far as after i was born (1996(, i think Connor Mcdavid could have had a similar impact in the NHL if the league had marketed him properly
Tiger Woods for one
Im 55 and this is the first time im followimg live scores...since following Kapil Dev.... in 1987. ( no typo) 🤨i didnt even know there was a WNBA.
Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.
@@v2807 Michael Jordan is the NBA GOAT, but his league had many, many other great players, as great as he is I don’t think you can say his impact is equal to Caitlin’s. Tiger Woods is a great example, however, he probably transformed professional golf.
Sounds like they are throwing this game tonight...Sides needs to send a pr person to these interviews. Everytime she does one of these you have to just scratch your head. Is this really our coach?
Why bring up that 3pt record before the game? Like, come on!
Let’s go Fever bring home the dub
Why do the press always ask FLUFF questions. How about why CC does not take control in crunch time, how about why CC gives up the ball when she has a clear shot in the lane, ask why CC seems lost on defense. How about asking Christy Sides why in the world she starts Sameualsen and Smith. Ask the real questios.
Those are things we all want to know. But realistically, the players aren’t free to answer such questions publicly. And the coach probably isn’t either!
Have you heard some of the pure fluff interviews other teams have during oregam and postgame interviews... Caitlin interviews get great playback and meaningful responses
I think next season some of that pressure will be off and she won’t be as timid in crunch time. Imagine if she missed and lost them the game
Where is Sides ? isn't it time that management protect the team. This team has a game to play and needs to focus on quiet game warmup not Reporters and promotional that comes after the game someone needs to step up and do their JOB and not be catering to these sports hounds and in your face they the reporters need to do their Jobs as as sports journalist. These players are in need of space from all this pressure of media psyche reporter mob. Yes advert build up is important but done at right time.
Sit.
Hey Coach has anyone asked N. SMITH and Katie Lou what's going on last 3 games? Are you convinced Lexi Hull is the most energetic defensive player on the court?
Is it just me or does Sides give away too much information during these pregame interviews.
No surprise there.
We'll see if sides as a LIAR and doesn't start Hull and Fagbenle...who ARE performing....UNLIKE smith and samuelson
Liar??
Chill; let coaches, those who know, drive the train. You sit and watch.
So, she really does keep track of other teams and watches their films..nothing she can't and won't do, and she's a damn rookie//
Well already Grey is full court face checking CC and CC is giving Grey 5 to 8 feet to set up plays . Who is coaching this defense ! Too much spacing and not sticking to your assessment
Defense is easier to learn but way way harder to encourage or demand. All about position and that ugly word..
“Effort”. And that can’t be taught.
